CV Pen respects your privacy. The app is designed to work entirely on your device, with no account and no connection to our servers. This page explains how your data is handled.

Information you enter

You create your résumé inside the app, which may include data such as your name, job title, email, phone number, location, profile photo, and your experience, education, and skills. This information is stored locally on your device only.

We do not collect or transmit your data

We do not collect, transmit to our servers, share, or sell your personal data. All of your résumé data stays on your device.

When your data leaves the device

Your data leaves your device only when you choose to export it, for example by exporting your résumé as a PDF or backup file, or sharing it through other apps you select. You are in full control of those files once exported.

Device permissions

The app may request permission to access your photos to add a profile picture, and storage to save exported files. These permissions are used only for these purposes.

Advertising

The app may display ads through Google AdMob. In that case, the ad provider may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and usage data to serve and measure ads. This processing is governed by Google's partner policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete any résumé from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
